Today: Shopify mints the sessionLogin is Shopify's Customer Account API: it mints the token that becomes the mCentral session. The customer portal itself is hosted on a Shopify App Proxy, and the session is the signed proxy query string, cached for 30 minutes. Leaving Shopify means mCentral OPS has to own identity outright: who can sign in, what they can see, and what a session and its device look like. No decision on that is recorded yet: this page states the surface a real identity system would fill.

Signed in via Shopify means Shopify's Customer Account API minted the token. Simulated for the demo: device, browser and location are derived, not read from a real session store. The point being proved is the shape of the surface, not these particular figures: no live auth system sits behind mCentral OPS yet.
